The Desco Europe EOS/ESD Assessment and Survey Kit is used to measure, verify and qualify products for use in the ESD Protected Area in accordance with IEC 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 documents. These include IEC TS 61340-5-4, IEC 61340-2-3, IEC 61340-4-1, ANSI/ESD STM2.1, ANSI/ESD STM3.1, ESD TR53, ANSI/ESD S4.1, ANSI/ESD S7.1, ANSI/ESD STM97.1 and more. The kit offers an effective way to detect ESD events, troubleshoot, and verify that the ESD control processes are working properly. The devices included in the kit identify EOS (electrical overstress) and ESD (electrostatic) generators.

Measures resistance point-to-point (Rtt) or surface-to-ground (Rtg)

Verifies the path-to-ground integrity of electrical outlets and wrist straps

Detects, counts, and measures ESD events that can damage ESD items and cause tool lock-ups, erratic behaviour and parametric errors

Confirms that an AC electrical outlet’s wiring is correct and the path to equipment ground conductor (the green wire) is intact and to measure ground impedance in accordance with ANSI/ESD S6.1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 required limits
